For operators

The accountability index: what it is made of and how to raise it

We publish a score for operator behaviour: does it pay, does it answer complaints, does it see disputes through to the money. It is not a star average. Below: what the score is made of, what moves it, and what we do not do for money.

What it is made of

Payout reliability — the heaviest component. Built from complaints that are specifically about getting money out, and from the share of disputes that end with the money paid.

Complaints answered — the share answered among low-rated complaints. High-rated reviews are excluded — answering praise does nothing for the score.

Disputes resolved — the share of disputes closed as resolved. The player marks it resolved; the operator cannot close a dispute. If the operator answered and the player stays silent for 14 days, the dispute closes as resolved automatically — and the player can dispute that later from their own link.

A component with no data is not counted — the weights are renormalised over the rest. With no component at all there is no index, and we do not invent one.

What moves the score

Silence works against an operator twice: after 14 days a dispute turns unresolved, and that pulls down both the resolved share and payout reliability.
